Wes Goodwin – Academic Dean and COO
Wes is an experienced leader in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, with nearly 30 years of industry experience. He has successfully led his own Registered Training Organisation in Sydney and more recently contributed to the sector through his work as an industry regulator.
Now serving as Academic Dean and COO at Indus Institute, he is passionate about delivering high-quality, industry-relevant education and driving excellence in training and compliance.
Russell Tien – Campus Manager
Russell is the Campus Manager at Indus Institute and looks after the overall management of the Institute. He is well versed in ASQA / CRICOs / ESOS standards and also has good understanding of our agent network and student needs.
Director – Business Development (National) – Surya Nemani
Surya has been part of Indus Institute since its inception, growing from intern to Director of Business Development at a national level. With deep experience in the international education sector, he brings a strong understanding of student needs, well-established host company networks, and meaningful relationships across student and agent communities throughout Australia.
Deputy Dean – Rajni Kundra
Rajni is a committed trainer with CPA, CS, and VET qualifications, with over 13 years of experience in the education sector. She has worked in the education industry in various roles as a VET trainer, an accountant, an independent contractor, and a lecturer. Currently, she serves as Deputy Dean and has spent the past four years as a professional year trainer at Indus Institute. She demonstrates exceptional communication, leadership, and team management abilities. She is facilitating the transition of international students into the Australian workforce. Rajni creates a supportive learning environment that prepares students for successful careers.
Placement Co-ordinator – Chidvila Reddy Gowru
Chidvila Reddy leads IT student placements and industry partnerships at Indus Institute, building employer networks across ICT and business sectors and managing the full partner lifecycle from acquisition to long-term relationship management. Combining compliance insight with strategic outreach, she connects talent with industry needs to support Indus Institute’s growth.
Director of Compliance – Dennis Sango
Dennis Sango is the Academic Operations Manager for Indus Institute. With over 25 years within the ICT and Education industry in both VET and Higher Education.
Dean Moran – Trainer
Dean brings over 15 years of experience delivering English communication and soft skills training across corporate environments, including a tenure as Associate within the Delivery Capability Team at NAB Wealth. His facilitation style is grounded in adult learning principles and practical workplace application, complemented by an extensive background in personal training and group fitness — experience that sharpens his ability to coach, motivate, and engage people in any learning environment.
Edwin Zywko-Hicks – Trainer
Edwin brings an unusually broad career to the training room, spanning trade apprenticeship, enterprise software development at BHP, product management at Telstra, and vocational education. He holds a Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) and a Bachelor of Business, and teaches business, leadership, and project management qualifications across all Indus campuses. His real-world experience gives students something textbooks rarely can: context that makes theory stick.
Simon Wattanatum – Trainer
Simon brings hands-on experience across human resources, recruitment, and higher education to his role as trainer and assessor. With academic grounding in Education Psychology, Human Resources Management, and Human Capital and Organisational Management, he focuses on bridging the gap between study and the workplace, helping students build the practical skills and professional confidence they need to hit the ground running.
